The magic of custom rods: you choose the action of the blank which suits you the most, the look of your rod, the reel seat, etc. so that you end-up with the fly rod you always dreamt to possess: your own unique fly rod.
How to choose the blank for your rod?
Nothing is easier. Visit us in our workshop or visit one of our distributors where you can cast all the blanks we have already mounted. Based on this test and your casting style, we´ll find you the very best blank for the type of fishing you´re looking for.
We have over a dozen blanks ready for you to try out, to give you an idea of all the possibilities and of course, should desire a blank we don´t have, we can order it for you!
The finish and accessories:
There are unlimited combination possible thanks to the new materials available today, please find here a few to envision your next custom fly rod:
Custom grip : all made with the very best natural or exotic cork, burls and barks, my hand made grips are match with great ergonomics and are tailor made to suit you.
Reel seat: we carry a large selection of aluminium reel seats, nickel silver reel seats with exotic wood burls which are all selected and turned by me.
Engraving :using the ancient scrimshaw technique, I engrave your favourite fly or any other motive to give you a superb result.
The guides: single foot or snake, I mount the very best hard chrome guides or the famous Recoil titanium guides for top performances.
Wraps & finish: all my rods are mounted by hand exclusively by me. i invite you to look closely ate the finish of my wraps to judge by yourself.
Rod Gallery : you´ll find here a selection of custom fly rod recently realized for my clients. From the small river fly rod to the heavy big game game sea fly rod, the possibilitites are endless.
Delivery:
Depending on your wishlist, you have to count on 6 to 8 weeks of production time. Please be advised that we ask for a 50% deposit to start production.
